The Quiet Voice of Courage

courage

If my walls could talk, they would speak of the pain they have witnessed as people have broken down and shared their greatest sorrows.

“I’m unable to bear children. Yet all I want is to bear a child.”

“I am terrified. I don’t want Bipolar.”

“I feel so used. My parent’s are fighting over me in court because neither of them want to pay child support.”

“I have a chronic illness that will not give me a break for even 5 minutes. The pain. I can’t stand the pain.”

“I know that I am beyond loving, nothing you can say will change that.”

“If I were prettier, my husband would not turn to other women.”

“I can’t eat. If I eat, I will gain weight. Gaining weight is completely unacceptable.”

How many of us struggle with physical or emotional pain invisible to those around us? Countless of us. Continue to show your courage my friends. Hang in there. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying “I will try again tomorrow.”
